The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
We provide relief to those affected by disasters and empowers individuals in our community to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies 24 hours a day. Working with our network of generous donors, volunteers, and employees, we provide compassionate care to our clients at a time they need it most. Here in Northwest Ohio, we respond to a disaster every 19 hours. In addition to our disaster preparedness and response efforts, we also provide support for local military families during emergencies, teach our neighbors lifesaving skills such as first aid, CPR and AED; and provide access to lifesaving blood services.
The American Red Cross Northwest Ohio Region proudly serves the following counties: Allen, Auglaize, Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Lucas, Mercer, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood, and Wyandot.
All disaster assistance provided to our clients is a gift. We are not a government agency, and disaster relief provided by the American Red Cross is free of charge and made possible by the support of community members like you!
