Your help is needed!

Providing comfort and support to our community

Devastating storms struck the Midwest Sunday afternoon and evening, affecting hundreds of people within our local community. People in Cloverdale, DuPont, Jerry City, North Baltimore, Oregon, Paulding, Perrysburg, and Perrysburg Township received Red Cross assistance including food, clothing, comfort kits, medical or prescription assistance, emotional support, and temporary shelter. The Red Cross and our dedicated staff and volunteers opened shelters in Cloverdale and Perrysburg, serving more than 238 meals to our neighbors and providing warmth and support as temperatures plummeted. These shelters are on standby and will remain available if needed until power is restored and families can return to their homes.

Recovering from a disaster takes time. Red Cross workers are on the ground now providing relief and will be on the ground for weeks to come helping people get back on their feet. We will support families who need some extra help with recovering to make individual plans. We continue to work closely with government and community partners like churches, local Emergency Management Agencies, and others to provide help and support long term recovery efforts.

Locally, we respond to a disaster every single day… from families who have lost their home to a fire, to major catastrophic events like the storms this week. To help people affected by disasters like these, please consider making a donation to the American Red Cross today.

At times like these, you show the world what the Red Cross truly stands for – compassion. Thank you.
